Despite a wicked wind, which fortunately was at our backs on the
return, the skate and BBQ was a pleasant success. The tent was 
nearly  blown away as the winds picked up steam throughout the
afternoon, but calm greeted us by evening.  The sun even peeked 
through the heavy cloud cover several times throughout the day, 
even though most of us thought it would rain at some point.

 We would like to thank ALL who attended! Special thanks to those 
who made the trek from San Diego.  Thank you also to Larry and Jackie 
for being the chefs, Lizzy and Carol, and those who brought food.   
Thanks also to Aki for bringing the right amount of firewood!
